Job description
Who We Are
Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that includes solutions for video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.
We’ve got serious momentum in the market: more than 30,000 customers (including 100+ of the Fortune 500), a $5.8B valuation, more than $1 billion in annualized bookings, and backing from CapitalG, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Felicis Ventures, Next47 and more. Physical AI is one of the most consequential technology shifts of our time, and Verkada is at the center of it.
You can look at all kinds of communities to see our platform’s impact in the world. It's the retailer that uses our agentic AI to deter theft before it happens. The warehouse that uses AI-powered alerts to make sure its team is protected on the floor with proper PPE. The school that’s alerted to a threat in real-time and triggers a lockdown in seconds, not minutes. We’re rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries.
Overview
At Verkada, we're known for pushing traditional boundaries, and our B2B marketing efforts are no exception. Our New Products team owns go-to-market strategy for each new product line until it "graduates" by reaching $100M+ in annual sales. It's the most impactful segment in marketing and will shape Verkada's long-term growth as a multi-product company.
About This Role
As a Senior Growth Manager, New Products, you'll craft the go-to-market strategy and growth-hack campaigns that drive revenue for a new product line. You'll have full ownership: you'll identify the key growth levers for your product, zero in on a growth strategy, and drive the campaigns that execute it.
In many ways, you'll be building a startup within a startup. You'll design and run innovative experiments and campaigns, with dedicated sales and engineering resources to help scale your strategy and your product's growth. Once your product reaches $100M in annual bookings, it graduates from New Products into a fully operationalized business unit built on the foundation you established, and you move on to the next product!
We're looking for someone with the skills and experience to contribute to pipeline generation for our new product lines from day one, while growing into a cross-functional leader at the company.
What You'll Do
• Founder-like ownership of all things Go-To-Market for your product with a heavy emphasis on marketing. Consider yourself the product’s CMO, responsible for unlocking and driving your new product’s growth.
• Work alongside the CMO, Growth Marketing,Product Marketing, Product Management and Sales.
• Develop and execute new out-of-the-box experiments to deliver, target, and run marketing campaigns that drive direct revenue impact.
• Conceptualize and test new experimental campaigns that can help drive revenue at higher efficiency as we scale
• Engage with a fast-growing sales team to ensure your growth efforts convert into real opportunities down the funnel
• Analyze and optimize on lower-funnel metrics to ensure campaign ROI improves as it scales
• Partner with Product Management to drive growth strategy.
• This is an entrepreneurial role – perfect for former or aspiring founders. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build out and own a new product’s business operations
What You Bring
• 6+ years of work experience
• Bachelor degree
• Strong quantitative ability and analytical skills (including experience with SQL and Excel)
• A hacker’s type mentality full of curiosity and creativity (obsessed with solving problems and never gives up)
• Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally to prioritize multiple initiatives with various stakeholders
• Ambitious and driven to be a top performer within the company
• Roll up your sleeves type mentality
• Preferred candidates may have been:
• Ex-Founders
• Former big tech product leaders looking to dive deeper into growth marketing and drive greater impact at much faster speed;
• Early startup employees
