Job Description
Finance and Accounting Operations, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

• Ensure close process, month end review and flux analysis is completed accurately and on a timely basis.

• Preparation of complex and approval of standard monthly reconciliations, accrual calculations and journal entries to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements.

• Preparation of complex and approval of standard accounts payable/accounts receivable subledger, journal and clearing account reconciliations and liaison with Source to Pay (S2P)/Order to Cash (O2C) to resolve discrepancies and upstream process issues.

• Preparation of complex and approval of standard reconciliations of employee advances/expenses/P-cards, liaison with S2P to resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring accrual journals

• Ensure the accuracy of the month end FX revaluation process.

• Assist in preparation of accounts receivable, accounts payable and other asset-related disclosures for 10K/10Q.

• Assist in preparation of statutory accounts disclosures for multiple legal entities.

Auditing and Compliance Monitoring

• Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits.

• Support audit requests, walkthroughs, testing activities, and remediation efforts.

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies, and internal control frameworks

• Maintain and update process documentation, control narratives, and risk-control matrices

• Participate in self-testing program to proactively identify and remediate control gaps before audits.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement changes that generate efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Partner with S2P and O2C to drive operational efficiencies and process improvement.

• Ensure existing systems (Oracle, BlackLine) are optimized and identify new technology opportunities.

• Deliver on internal KPI’s and customer focused SLA’s to deliver a best in class general accounting service.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years of General Accounting experience and 2 years in a global organization.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge with focus on US GAAP.

• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable and considered an added advantage.

• Experience in operational compliance in shared services.

• Strong communication (English language), and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments.
