As a Managing Principal within Capco’s Cybersecurity practice, you will play a key leadership role in growing, delivering, and shaping our cybersecurity consulting services across the financial services sector.
You will advise senior executives, including CISOs, CROs, and CIOs, on complex cybersecurity challenges, while leading strategic client engagements, developing consulting talent, and building capabilities that respond to evolving market needs.
Your work will span cyber risk management, identity and access management, security architecture and engineering, operational resilience, and emerging technologies.
Cybersecurity is evolving rapidly. AI, cloud transformation, automation, and changing regulatory expectations are reshaping how financial institutions manage security, risk, and resilience. You will help clients understand these changes, respond to emerging threats, and develop practical strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
This role combines strategic advisory, consulting delivery, business development, and practice leadership. We welcome candidates with deep expertise in one or more cybersecurity disciplines, a broad understanding of the security lifecycle, and an interest in helping grow a consulting practice.

•
Delivery Excellence: Oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering cybersecurity transformation programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Provide strategic direction while empowering technical specialists and delivery teams.
•
Business Development & Growth: Build trusted client relationships, identify commercial opportunities, shape proposals, and contribute to executive presentations, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives that support practice growth.
•
Talent & Capability Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop consulting talent, strengthen leadership capabilities, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports continuous learning and high-quality delivery.
What We’re Looking For
•
Cybersecurity Expertise: Significant progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, security architecture, engineering, identity, or cybersecurity consulting, ideally within financial services. Depth in at least one specialist area, alongside a broad understanding of cybersecurity strategy and delivery.
•
Consulting & Executive Advisory: Experience advising senior stakeholders, structuring complex challenges, translating technical risks into business priorities, and delivering practical solutions. Experience in a consulting firm, financial institution, technology provider, or complex enterprise environment is welcome.
•
Program & Delivery Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading significant cybersecurity programs, managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing complex engagements, and delivering outcomes across the cybersecurity lifecycle.
•
Commercial & Practice Development: Experience developing client relationships, contributing to business development, building capabilities, or scaling consulting services. An interest in identifying new opportunities and shaping the future direction of cybersecurity consulting.
•
Industry, Technology & Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of financial services cybersecurity, emerging technologies including AI, and relevant frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, and FFIEC. Effective executive communication, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
