At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.
Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.
We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative B2B Growth Marketer to build and scale our SMB acquisition engine. This is a foundational role on the Paid Performance Marketing team and the first dedicated marketer focused on bringing small and medium-sized businesses to Pinterest.
What you’ll do
• Demonstrated experience developing, managing, or setting strategy for paid acquisition programs, with particular depth in Google Search, Performance Max, and other Google Ads products. Experience with Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit is a plus.
• Define and lead the B2B acquisition strategy for SMBs, identifying the highest-potential customer segments, use cases, markets, messages, and channels to drive efficient growth.
• Build an integrated SMB acquisition roadmap centered on paid media and complemented by owned channels, partner opportunities, and other scalable levers.
• Develop compelling SMB value propositions and campaign narratives that clearly articulate why businesses should advertise on Pinterest.
• Own creative strategy in partnership with Creative.
• Own performance measurement across the acquisition funnel, including qualified sign-ups, activation, early advertiser success, cost efficiency, and downstream business value.
• Design and execute a rigorous testing agenda to improve targeting, creative, landing experiences, incentives, onboarding, and channel mix.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Product, Analytics, Sales, Business Development, Creative, Finance, and regional teams to bring programs to market and turn learnings into action.
• Translate customer research, market signals, and campaign data into actionable insights that inform growth strategy and product priorities.
• Establish clear operating rhythms, dashboards, and executive-ready communications that keep stakeholders aligned on performance, risks, decisions, and opportunities.
• Use AI and automation thoughtfully to accelerate research, analysis, ideation, and operational workflows, while applying sound judgment and maintaining ownership of output quality.
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or a related B2B marketing discipline.
• Demonstrated experience acquiring and activating small-business, self-serve, or B2B customers in a measurable, performance-oriented environment.
• Strong command of growth strategy and experimentation, including audience segmentation, funnel analysis, channel optimization, messaging, and conversion-rate improvement.
• Exceptional analytical judgment: able to define success metrics, synthesize quantitative and qualitative signals, and make clear tradeoffs amid ambiguity.
• Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared plan.
• Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution—setting the direction while remaining close to the details of campaigns, creative, measurement, and customer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders with clear, concise recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled tools to accelerate marketing workflows or customer analysis, alongside a clear approach to validating accuracy, protecting quality, and applying critical thinking.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience marketing advertising, marketplace, SaaS, creator, ecommerce, or other self-serve business products.
• Experience building a new growth motion, channel, or customer segment from an early stage through scale.
• Familiarity wit
