Job description
StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.
From a team advancing to the playoffs to a major artist announcing a world tour, some of StubHub's most impactful marketing moments require quick decisions, sharp execution, and the ability to act at scale.
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Associate to help capitalize on these exciting moments and deliver timely, relevant email and push campaigns that drive fan engagement and business impact.
In this role, you'll own the planning, prioritization, and execution of high-impact event campaigns across sports, music, theater, and comedy. You'll determine which opportunities to act on leveraging insight tooling and coordinate campaigns from concept through launch, either independently or leading design and engineering teammates. You'll balance a planned marketing calendar with real-time opportunities, where speed and sound judgment can make a meaningful difference.
Beyond campaign execution, you'll help shape how our Direct Marketing team operates at scale. You'll identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve campaign quality, and reduce manual effort, partnering with Product, Data, and Engineering to develop tools and automation that make our marketing more efficient and effective.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong operational judgment and attention to detail, and is excited to both execute great campaigns and build better ways of working. Your impact will be measured not just by the campaigns you launch, but by how you help automate and scale campaign orchestration workflows.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Century City, CA or Aliso Viejo, CA
What You'll Do:

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate campaign requests, manage dependencies, and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Operational Excellence & Scale
• Improve campaign workflows, templates, QA processes, and documentation to increase execution speed, consistency, and quality.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering to develop existing and new scalable tooling and automation.
• Help transition the team to new processes and tooling. Gather feedback to improve solutions and ensure adoption.
Measurement & Optimization
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve targeting, creative, timing, and execution.
• Partner with the team to propose and execute experiments to improve campaign effectiveness and inform future strategy.
What You've Done:
• 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, program management, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex campaign calendars, operational workflows, or cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns, stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and operational rigor, particularly around campaign setup, quality assurance, and execution.
• Strong prioritization and analytical judgment, with the ability to evaluate opportunities based on business impact, customer relevance, and urgency.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, responding to time-sensitive opportunities, and balancing speed with quality.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving cross-functional challenges.
• A strong sense of ownership and bias for action; the ideal candidate is always seeking continuous improvement and measurable business impact.
• Comfort working with performance data and using metrics to inform decisions.
Nice to Have:
• Experience executing email, push, SMS, or other CRM campaigns.
• Background in consumer marketplaces, ecommerce, ticketing, entertainment, or other high-velocity consumer businesses.
