We are seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Strategic Finance to support company-wide expense reporting, analytics, and decision support. This role will focus on expense visibility across multiple reporting views and the structure behind them, while contributing to broader Corporate Strategic Finance priorities as business needs evolve. Successful candidates will be able to translate financial data into actionable insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
The Senior Associate will support recurring expense reporting, leadership dashboards, expense structure governance, and analytical support across forecasting and planning cycles, in partnership with Strategic Finance, Accounting, Financial Systems, and other cross-functional teams. This role offers broad exposure to LinkedIn's financial model and enterprise planning processes, with flexibility to support evolving priorities across the Corporate Strategic Finance team.
Responsibilities
This role is expected to connect financial analysis to business implications, identify trade-offs, and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
Strategic Thinking

• Support company-wide expense visibility across multiple P&L reporting cuts, including leadership, SEC, and functional views, to inform planning and performance decisions.

Stakeholder Influence

• Partner with Strategic Finance leads and cross-functional stakeholders to serve on-demand expense analysis, align assumptions, and support consistent company-wide expense reporting.

• Translate expense data into clear narratives and concise recommendations that highlight key drivers, trends, outliers, and decision points.

Execution & Organization

• Produce the recurring expense reporting package across all standard cuts, including leadership, SEC, and functional views, with responsibility for accuracy, timeliness, stakeholder readiness, and documentation.

• Reconcile expense views across cuts so that every reporting view ties back to a single expense total, partnering with Corporate Reporting on template, automation, and data standards.

• Maintain the expense and headcount structure, mapping, and hierarchy that underpin every reporting cut, supporting rapid re-cuts as organizational needs evolve.

• Maintain and improve financial models, reporting tools, and operating processes; leverage automation and approved AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to improve efficiency, accelerate analysis, strengthen controls, and enhance the quality and consistency of financial insights.

Performance Management

• Generate and maintain the recurring expense dashboards for the leadership team, including the fully loaded functional expense view.

• Partner with Finance systems and data owners to improve source-of-truth definitions, reporting logic, data quality, and reconciliation processes.

• Deliver insight rather than data by calling out drivers, trends, and outliers, and develop scenario and sensitivity views to evaluate expense risk and forecast uncertainty.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, or management reporting in a corporate or business finance environment.

• Experience building financial models and conducting quantitative analysis to support planning, forecasting, and business decision-making.

• Experience analyzing large datasets and reconciling information across multiple sources.

• Experience with financial systems, Excel, and data tools such as SQL.

• Experience using AI tools or automation to improve work processes, operational efficiency, insight generation, or reporting quality. Copilot/Cowork experience is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience maintaining accuracy while working with complex financial data and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Experience communicating financial concepts and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
