Job description
The Regional Revenue Marketing Manager will help drive account expansion and deal acceleration through integrated regional marketing programs, with Sales as a primary stakeholder. As a key marketing partner for assigned AMER markets, you’ll collaborate with sales and marketing to build and execute programs that engage decision makers, advance buying committees, accelerate the sales cycle, and improve conversion to customers. You’ll experiment with new approaches and tools while applying a disciplined, analytical approach to measuring program performance and business impact. You are a data-guided, results-driven marketer and collaborative partner to cross-functional stakeholders.
We're looking to speak with candidates based in the midwest.
Position Expectations
• Contribute to and execute the field marketing plan for assigned AMER markets, in partnership with regional marketing leadership and Sales. The integrated plan may include digital programs, web and webinars, trade shows, regional events, pipeline acceleration events, and the annual roadshow, in concert with key customers and partners in the region
• Build and execute decision-maker programs that engage executives, business leaders, technical leaders, and other influential personas across strategic accounts
• Partner with account teams to understand account priorities, buying committees, decision-making processes, whitespace opportunities, and barriers to expansion; translate those insights into relevant programs and experiences
• Develop and coordinate account-focused programs that support enterprise opportunities, strengthen relationships with key decision makers, and help create momentum through the sales cycle
• Work with the wider organization to support strategies that expand usage of MongoDB across enterprise accounts and across personas, from developers to C-level executives
• Support developer groundswell initiatives within assigned markets and contribute to tracking and reporting on developers enabled in the region
• Generate programs that contribute to pipeline, account expansion, and net annual recurring revenue (NARR), and track and report on results
• Be a trusted partner to regional Sales leadership and account teams by understanding territory needs and executing marketing strategies and programs that support deal velocity
• Conduct market and account research to identify regional opportunities, relevant audiences, and effective engagement strategies
• Work closely with regional marketing managers and cross-functional partners across AMER to align plans with Sales and Marketing goals and objectives
• Ensure program performance, pipeline influence, and ROI are tracked consistently; use insights to optimize programs and improve outcomes
• Support flagship events, sponsored conferences, regional events, and customer or executive experiences
• Manage budgets for assigned programs and markets, ensuring thoughtful allocation and accurate tracking of spend and results
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–6 years of regional, field, revenue, account-based, or customer marketing experience in an enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or technology company
• Experience developing programs for executive audiences, buying committees, or other enterprise decision makers; experience with account-based and/or developer marketing is a plus
• Highly results-driven with strong analytical ability and a metrics-oriented approach to success. Able to track outcomes and demonstrate ROI for funded and co-marketing activities against budget
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or partner teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and programs to different audiences
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems, such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Jira, or similar platforms
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good humor and a positive, can-do attitude
• 30–50% travel to assigned markets
